I have fallen in love with mexican art & in particular sugar skulls. I love the bright colours & decoration. Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico. It is a celebration to pray & remember the died. This canvas was done with acrylic water based paints.

Handmade sugar skull earrings 

When i first set eyes on these cute little skull beads i knew i had to make something out of them. The coloured beads are made from a stone & the small beads from hand-carved ox bone. I used leather thong/rope to make the bracelets.
