Felt Mermaid Doll

This little craft project is very easy & your child will love playing with this little cute doll. All you need is some sheet felt fabric from any good craft store in cream & blue, some stuffing, needle/thread, scissors, pink felt tip pen & something wooly (I used an old Jumper) for the hair. It is all hand sown so no machine required.

To make this little doll you will need to cut-out all the shapes so you need two tails & two shoulder/heads as these will be sown together to make the doll 3D. I stuff the doll as i go along using cushion stuffing from a craft store.

The face is hand sown but you could use beads for the eyes depending on how old your child is, just remember to sow them on tight. I always sow the face first as its easier to do when its flat. The hair was the last thing i added using an old jumper or you could use wool yarn.

The pink felt tip pen is for the dolls rosey cheeks, remember less is more. Try to get a light colour of pink.

I sown i little sequin into her hair just to give a little sparkle or you could sow her a pearl necklace. Have fun xxx
